Product launches for CASIO

Launching products within an F1 environment is a key deliverable for many of our clients. Crunch has overseen multiple launches, either for media or VIP guests, or sometimes both.

Client brief
Crunch was tasked with creating an Formula One-relevant news story to engage media for the launch of the second Casio EDIFICE Infiniti Red Bull Racing Watch Collection.

At the home of gastronomy ahead of the Italian Grand Prix in Monza, we created a unique culinary time-trial under the watchful eye of accredited Formula One media. Red Bull Racing driver Daniel Ricciardo was pitted against Team Principal Christian Horner in a race against the clock to prepare some local delicacies, with the support of world-famous chef Tom Sellers.

Attending media were given driver interviews through which Casio could deliver key messaging about the EDIFICE collection (which took inspiration from motorsport in its design, using carbon fibre details and cockpit-inspired chronographs). Media attendance was so high that Red Bull Racing ranked it as one of their most popular press events of the season.
